I saw T.D. Jake’s and Whitney Houston’s Sparkle movie this weekend and I kept trying to figure out if I recognized the actress that played Sister. Truly, I don’t remember seeing her anywhere before, but I now I can at least put a name with the face. Carmen Ejogo! I thought she did a good job in the role. She’s of Nigerian descent? Wow…never would have thought that but that’s why you can’t judge a book by it’s cover.  Hope to see her on the big screen a little more now…
